Nothing really special about this nice cache today, except it wasn’t another lamppost cache or another newsstand cache. It was an ammo box hidden on Mt. Washington in Los Angeles. A quick walk down a path, with nice views of the city. The photo above is a panorama with downtown Los Angeles barely showing over the nearby hill to the south to Griffith Park and the Griffith Observatory to the west.
I enjoyed the clear day and the sunny lunchtime caching trip. One of these is worth a bunch of the urban parking lot caches anyday.
Griffth Park is to right, at the high point in the photo. The Observatory is about mid photo, along the ridge.
